Goldie’s Sports Cafe opened in Scottsdale Ranch in June of 1993 with one philosophy in mind. Give the guests a great value and a great product in a comfortable environment; and this has worked for 15 years now.
Before every restaurant in town had TV’s, Goldie’s broke the mold of “sports bars” in Scottsdale by offering homemade foods such as gourmet wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, filets, ribs, cut from scratch fries and chips and of course the original focaccia sandwich. Since then, we have seen a lot of imitators but it’s always nice to be the original.
Our environment is comfortable and casual and caters to families downstairs with our great H.D. Flat Screen Televisions and large game room, covered patio and spacious booths and tables for large and small groups. The upstairs is geared towards the over 21 age group and offers shuffleboard, two pool tables, darts, flat screen TV’s, Golden Tees and it’s own outdoor patio. The upstairs is a phenomenal setting for private parties with a less formal feel and has been referred to as the best place in the Valley to watch TV.
Our food is simple and fresh, not fancy. It has won numerous awards such as “Best Place to Eat and Watch a Game” multiple times. Howard Seftel noted Valley Food Critic has declared, “Goldie’s Tenderloin Focaccia is good enough to classify Goldie’s Sports Café as a tourist attraction”. Our menu is vast and can appeal to just about anyone, giving Goldie’s the ability to satisfy anyone’s appetite.
Goldie’s just finished putting a state of the art draft beer system in and pours some of the best and coldest beers in town, not to mention our frozen Goldieritas and great mix of premium liquors and wines to compliment our large menu. So whether it’s getting out to watch the game and drink some beers or bringing the entire family in for a great dinner- Goldie’s is the spot.
In the end, our philosophy is a simple one- Give the people what they want!
